It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these (whoops), so here we go
Temperatures here have dropped significantly (not that we had very high temps in August, thank goodness) and I’m loving the cooler weather in the morning. I wore a sweater on our dog walk today! It’s the little things that make me happy.
Just in time for the cooler weather, I finally bought some maternity jeans. I was super excited to be able to wear them this week- shorts have been fine all summer but I love jeans and was so happy to have some that fit!!
Hmm, the last time I wrote one of these, I had just signed the dogs up for the last agility trials they’ll be doing before baby comes. This weekend is our very last agility trial- wow. Time flies. I’m sort of looking forward to it and sort of dreading it- I have to get up SUPER early both days and I’m running two dogs with completely different running styles which will keep me on my toes. I’m hoping to walk away with a qualifying ribbon for Ellie- that’s my goal. 5 classes, 2 dogs and 1 ribbon- keeping the expectations low!
My only complaint about this pregnancy (aside from the horrendous morning sickness I had until ~16weeks) has been back pain. Luckily my insurance covers physical therapy, so I started that last week. I’ve been enjoying it so far, especially because she incorporates a lot of massage into the therapy. This makes me feel like I need to have more massages- too bad they’re so darn expensive!!
I’ve tried to keep everything from becoming baby related, but apparently I’m failing at that. Guess that’s what happens when it’s your biggest DIY project right? I’m hoping to update the house tour page at some point soon with some updated photos- and we’re having mulch delivered this weekend, so that’s something non-baby right?? ha. Anyone want to come shovel/spread mulch?
